SPRING 2025
--------------------------------

A new record mean temperature of 11.3C, an anomaly of +1.8 degrees, pushing last year's 10.8C into 3rd place!
But rainfall is a different story altogether, this year's Spring total was 67.4mm, only 38.9% of the 30 year average, the 2nd lowest in 70 years.
Last year's Spring rainfall was 249.8mm, 144.0% of the 30 year average, the 6th highest on record here, which was 3.7 times as much as this year's.
So overall an exceptionally warm and dry Spring

June was a very warm and dry month. Up to 11th temperatures were slightly below normal, but after 11th were considerably higher than normal.

The mean temperature 18.1C ranks equals 2nd place, it was 2.8degrees above 30 year normal, equalling 2023, and just missing the 18.2C set in 2006.  The MeanMin is a new record 12.3C beating the 12.1C set in 2023.  The MeanMax 23.9C is 3rd highest, behind 25.3C in 2006 and 24.1C in 2023.

Rainfall ranks 14th lowest for June. Most of what fell came in the first week of June, with a small topup in the fourth week. The middle of the month and the final few days were totally dry.

Combining Mar, Apr, May, Jun rainfall, we have had 99mm in those 4 months, easily beating previous records of 121.9mm in 1995, 132.7mm in 1974, 136.4mm in 2011 and 136.7mm in 1990.
